Fani Ferjančič, born Verčon, in Erzelj in 1920, was interned to Fraschette d’Alatri in March 1943 for being denounced as a supporter of partisan movement. Two other sisters were interned along with her, one being heavily pregnant. In the camp, they were suffered severely from hunger and fear, however they manage to take part in handwork, singing and gym activities, which help them alleviate the unbearable conditions.
